Reception Manager

Temp-Perm

Are you a Reception Manager available immediately and looking for a new challenge? We currently have a position for a financial firm in the city who are looking for a Reception Manager to start ASAP.

They are looking for someone on a temp basis initially however if you hit the ground running and impress they will consider taking you on permanently. The position is being managed by a leading outsource provider and interviews are this week and early next. You will manage a team of 12 and have experience in working within a Financial Services firm or corporate setting previously.

You must have previous experience of managing a large team, be professional, approachable and understand customer service to a high level. Working hours are 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday on a rotation basis between 7am and 7pm, flexibility is required.

Duties will include:

  • Be the lead person, providing support and guidance to the reception team
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer care and professionalism is provided to clients and visitors at all times
  • Sign in visitors accordingly to service level agreements
  • Report any maintenance faults accordingly
  • Motivate your team to their full potential, conducting appraisals and putting training plans in place where required
  • Managing complaints in a calm and professional manner
  • Ensure the team follow strict security procedures
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to management
  • Keeping staff files up to date and making sure all relevant documentation is available
  • Work with the management team in the delivery of initiatives that improve customer/client expectations
  • Making the team aware of client requests and expectations
  • Manage any performance and conduct issues where appropriate
  • Ensuring the team are following the agreed uniform policy whilst on duty
  • Introduce innovative ideas and manage project accordingly to ensure client satisfaction
