Cleaning Area Manager - Midlands

About the Client:
Our Client are a very well-established regional contract cleaning business, based in Derbyshire, who pride themselves on providing a fantastic service and have one of the highest customer retention rates in the country. In order to provide such a high level of customer satisfaction they are looking to hire an extra Operational Manager who will be responsible for various sites across the midlands.

About the Role:
Directing, mentoring and motivating staff in providing contracted cleaning services in line with the business objectives, mission, and values.
Ensuring that the performance, development and training needs of all employees are effectively managed
Visiting staff on site on a regular basis
Full accountability for the service delivery for each of your contracts
Liaising with the Relationship Manager to ensure standards are as expected and they are satisfied with the service
Regular and scheduled site visits to clients
Auditing equipment
Working with the Finance team to manage and monitor the region's budget by tracking and approving expenditure, controlling costs, validating vendor expenses.
Monthly review of financials with Venue Cleaning Managers to report on budget, forecast and actuals. Provide monthly report to Director of Client Services for the region with each venue's financial performance.
Financial delivery in line with budgets for each venue. Provide reasons and action plans when venues fall below budgeted profits.

About the Candidate:
Possess a detailed knowledge of the cleaning sectors
2 Years operational management experience
Great people skills
Ability to deal with change in a pro-active manner
Abel to excel within a pressured environment ensuring standards are adhered to
Quality driven
High levels of business acumen
Must hold valid UK driving license
