The Retail Practice within an award winning, established (20+ years) and entrepreneurial consultancy are currently seeking Senior Management Consultants to join their team in London.

The consultants in the team are pragmatists and innovators who work at the intersection between business and technology, helping organisations develop and implement business strategies to achieve key objectives. They support clients with broad capabilities, deep business insight and a culture of innovation. Whether they are looking to prepare for growth, reduce costs or realise their digital ambitions, they have the skills and experience to make things happen.

The Retail Practice is a relatively new business practice at the start of its journey, with the backing and support of the wider business who has a successful track record of incubating start-up ventures within the business. The support comes in multiple forms, such as; an existing client base, multi-discipline teams and with many experts in their fields - from data scientists and researchers to software and app developers. As well as the current (and growing) team of specialist retail consultants who have a mix of experience from top tier management consultancies and retailers.

Retail clients include a range of organistions across; grocers, general merchandise, landlords and fashion. The projects they deliver are typically bespoke, customer-centric, strategic engagements designing pragmatic solutions for C-Suite stakeholders.

Propositions that they are developing and have taken to market are and include the likes of:

  • Digital & Omni-channel excellence
  • Innovation & growth strategy
  • Data & advanced analytics
  • Sustainability

Excellent training will be provided, as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from the Head of Retail and Head of Practices, who will also help guide your career.

People who excel in the team have a passion for retail, have an opinion on what's happening in the industry, keen problem solvers and are confident in their ability to succeed in a boutique and entrepreneurial organisation.

Preferred experience:

  • 5+ years in an established Management Consultancy
  • Experience in retail, ideally across at least one of; digital, strategy, marketing and/or operations.
  • Customer-centric view of retail, ideally on a Global scale across different sectors; GM, Grocery, Fashion and/or Luxury goods.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organisation
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
