Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior to join a well respected and growing top 50 Practice Firm based in the West End of London. The role offers a mix of audit and accounts work (60% audit and 40% accounts) and the successful candidate will get exposure to a mixed client base which includes media, entertainment, professional services and property, as well as a many other specialist areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the on-site audit team from planning through to completion
  • Prepare full sets of accounts and corporation tax returns for review by either a Manager or Partner
  • Supervise, delegate and review the work of junior staff
  • Ensure all budgets and timescales are met

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience of managing teams on-site
  • Good understanding and knowledge of relevant accounting standards, in particular FRS102
  • Any working knowledge of Viztopia, Sage Line 50, CCH and Quickbooks would be an advantage but is not essential
