Job Description:

Our client is one of the world's leading customer insight companies. They analyse data and apply insights to help companies create better, more personalised customer experiences. They are currently recruiting for an Insight Manager with experience in retail banking or financial services to provide relevant market, customer and product insight and expertise in order to support the development of a new Retail Banking proposition/s and route to market, preparing a launch into the sector, identifying leads and helping pitch to new business.

Responsibilities

Provides sector and market understanding of the Retail Banking sector in the UK, identifies market trends and establishes how and where the company can help banks respond to these trends.

• Works with the Principal Consultant - Financial Services to develop, test and launch scalable propositions and go to market; establishes pain points across the Retail Banking value chain to evaluate where and how capability can make a difference for banks and identifies a capability road-map for the client to develop and invest in our current product and service suite to serve Retail Bank's needs.

• Identifies opportunities to expand our activities in the Retail Banking sector and drive revenue growth.

• Supports the Principal Consultant - Financial Services to identify potential clients, understand their needs and challenges and lead business pitches to grow new business within the Retail Banking sector.

• Works with the Marketing team in developing the right marketing collateral that builds credibility and supports the Market and Sales Teams.

Who you'll get to work with:

Internally you'll work with the financial Services sector team, you'll also collaborate with capability and marketing teams and a data consultancy team. Externally you'll work Consultants, Experian and the Financial Conduct Authority.

Qualifications

What you'll need: [Essential]


A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any relevant subject.

You'll need experience in the Retail Banking Sector as well as previous marketing and/ or commercial roles.

Experience in:

• Financial Sector Industry Trends
• Business Strategy Development
• Consultative Selling
• Client Relationship Building and Management
• Data Interpretation and Insight Analysis
• Stakeholder Management skills
• Financial Analysis Skills
• Market Research

A plus if you also have:

A Master's degree in Business or Marketing

• Insight story telling experience
• Influencing and negotiating skills
• Price & Promotion Analytics
• Strong Client Interview techniques
• Project Management skills
