Job Description:

Due to expansion, the Gi Group Doncaster is recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver on behalf of our Client based in the Doncaster with the potential of a Temp to Perm.

Gi Group provides recruitment, staffing and workforce management services to local and national clients of all sizes, placing an average of 12,000 temporary and permanent staff into work nationwide each week across all market sectors.

Working Hours/ Shift Patterns:

Monday to Friday (40 hours a week) with the potential to earn Overtime.

The shift pattern is 06:30am to 15:30, flexibility with the shift patterns will be require in peak periods as the workloads may increase.

You will also get two generous 15-minute breaks that are paid and a further 30-minute lunch break, which is not paid.

Hourly Rate/Overtime:

This vacancy pay rate is National Living Wage. (Overtime paid after 40 hours at time and a half).

Saturday's Overtime rate is time and a half.

Sunday's Overtime rate is double time.

Essential Skills Required

* Previous Experience working within the Paper waste industry.
* Must have a Valid Fork Lift Truck license (Counterbalance) along with previous experience.
* Previous Banksman experience.
* Have good written, verbal and numerical skills.
* Ability to complete work accurately within set periods.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team.
* Excellent attention to detail.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Loading Containers with baled waste paper.
* Able to perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, stacking, carrying etc.
* Ensuring all loads are safely loaded and secured.
* Checking forklift trucks daily to ensure they are operable.
* General housekeeping and adhering to all company health and safety procedures.
* Work between different departments to keep up with business demands.
