Job Description:

Job Purpose:
To work as part of a small team to provide office cleaning services and periodic cleaning across a range of facilities, including but not limited to offices, washrooms, kitchens, common areas, meetings room.

Principal Accountabilities:

*

Carry out cleaning tasks to ensure that the agreed standards are met and maintained for all accommodation covered by the cleaning schedule

*

Raise any H & S risks and hazards through the EMCOR reporting site near miss procedures

*

Liaising with customers on a daily basis and so awareness of customer service is key

*

Ensure any repairs required in washrooms, kitchens and any other areas are reported to the Cleaning Supervisor

*

Ensure a timely response to any service shortfalls identified by the Cleaning Supervisor

*

Carry out additional or special cleans as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor, using equipment and chemicals appropriate for the task

*

Ensure adequate stocks of consumables are available in nominated cleaning stores and where necessary requests for replenishment are submitted to the Cleaning Supervisor in a timely manner

*

Comply with all statutory regulations and EFS instructions

*

Previous experience cleaning experience in large office areas essential

*

Experienced in using mechanical floor scrubbers / buffers, able to strip and reseal vinyl flooring

*

Customer service skills essential

*

Awareness of H & S and able to report near misses

*

English comprehension to a high standard which is able to understand and action both written and oral instructions and training materials given

*

Able to work well in a team environment and support holiday cover etc.

*

Methodical and meticulous approach to work

*

Occasional overtime may be required

*

Smart and presentable

*

Clear and confident communicator

*

Understand the importance of effective customer service
