Job Description:

TeacherActive are recruiting for a part time Y4 teacher in the South Sheffield area to work on an ad-hoc basis in a 3-form entry primary school for the duration of the 2019/ 2020 school year.

TeacherActive work on behalf of the school to support with recruitment and staffing, the successful candidate will cover on an ad-hoc basis in Y4 and possibly throughout Key Stage 2 / KS2 if the candidate is suited.

The school is situated in an area of low socioeconomic status, and the children can present with some challenging behaviour. The school is an extremely supportive environment that facilitates extra support for children who struggle to manage behaviour through nurture activities such as animal care and intervention outside of the classroom in smaller groups. A teacher with a nurturing approach would fit well with the needs of the children and the cohort of staff in the school.

The successful candidate will have QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 2 / KS2 and a dynamic

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 / KS2
Confidence to differentiate planning and resources according to ability and needs
Engaging teaching styles
