Job Description:

We are an accomplished and highly-accredited specialist recruitment partner serving NW England, established 1999 and with clients across a wide range of sectors. We cover roles from entry level up to Director and within all disciplines of professional marketing.

Due to demand we are expanding of our team. A new vacancy has arisen for a Junior/Trainee Project Manager to deliver client assignments. The emphasis is on search and selection, interviewing, project coordination and client liaison. It is not a sales role (there is no cold-calling). Key Responsibilities:

  • Account handling, dealing with clients and candidates, representing the company in a proactive and professional manner, taking client briefs and building long-term collaborative business relationships.
  • Project-managing assignments, including candidate search, vacancy promotion, identifying and interviewing candidates - managing the process through to offer stage.
  • Operate and update the company's bespoke CRM database, in compliance with GDPR.
  • Upload latest vacancies on to the company's websites, partner advertising portals and relevant social media platforms etc.
  • Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and assignment reviews etc..
  • Represent the Company at corporate events, recruitment fairs, client functions and client entertaining.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A bright and purposeful graduate with a relevant marketing-based-degree such as media studies, marketing, communications, economics, business studies or digital media. Strong candidates with other degrees such as social studies or English will also be considered on merit, especially if they have a subsequent CIM qualification etc.
  • Possess some experience of professional marketing, possibly gained within a degree internship or, perhaps, a prior project coordination role with a marketing, PR or digital agency.
  • Personable, professional, assured, lively, well-spoken and client-facing - naturally communicative and collaborative. Strong written and verbal English are essential.
  • Well-organised, process-driven and purposeful - possessing a cool temperament and hence able to multi-task under pressure when the interruptions are coming thick and fast.

This is an ideal career 'stepping stone' opportunity for a bright graduate wishing to break into professional marketing and/or an interesting, lively and challenging career in marketing recruitment. We have a policy of co-funding P/T vocational training (typically CIM), if desired by our staff.

Starting basic salary is £20k, with the annual Company bonus and discretionary monthly personal bonuses generating a first-year OTE of £28-30k. Benefits include 23 days annual leave (plus bank hols), gym membership, pension scheme and company mobile phone.

TO APPLY respond below and please include a brief covering note, quoting Ref 0902. First interviews will be held in early September. For further details, or to discuss the opportunity, feel free to call us at PRMS.
