Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Park Royal

Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am
Tuesday to Saturday 10pm - 6am
(rotating weeks)

SALARY / BENEFITS

In London, my client employs over 2,400 people across three sites and a distribution centre in the Park Royal area. These sites specialise in making a variety of ambient products from chilled ready meals, deli products and savoury accompaniments, and are part of a sector which has eight factories in total in the UK.

JOB DETAIL

A fantastic opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to lead the team at our FMCG manufacturing facility at Park Royal site London.

DUTIES
Reporting to the Team leader.
Good electrical diagnostic skills.
Familiar with CMM systems.
Familiar with safe systems of working.
Develop and deliver small project to improve productivity.
Log work request and act on.
Be prepared to work on building fabrication.
Daily responsible will include:
The daily reporting of breakdowns v PPMs activities
Prioritization of repair work
Planning and Monitoring machine performance
Stores booking, ordering of parts
Working with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability
Monitoring failure
Supporting External Contractors
Technical support for production when required

QUALIFICATIONS

It is essential that you have both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering apprenticeship / NVQ 3 in electrical or mechanical engineering, HNC / HND in both disciplines. Ideally experience in the manufacturing industry, or FMCG, Pharma, Drink industries.
