Opportunity
We have an opportunity for someone who has recently completed their CILEX qualification, to join the team as a Claims Assistant/Team Secretary. You'll provide admin support to our Liability Adjusting team.

Responsibilities: Whilst we understand this is an entry level role, you will soon be trained and be able to:

  • Transcribe audio tapes and other media formats into a high standard of typed correspondence, reports, etc.
  • Provide filing, photocopying, faxing, emailing, scanning, courier services and organization of translations.
  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate claim files and associated diary systems.
  • Effectively and efficiently assist, monitor and respond to incoming enquiries (phone, emails, correspondence, etc.), specifically in the absence of hull/liability surveyors an adjusters.
  • Assist in making appointments, arranging meetings, arranging travel itineraries.
  • Arranging and attending marketing events.
  • Update and be responsible for Client internet based systems.
  • Assist in the fee process to include drafting and amending of fees.
  • Contribute to an efficient and effective secretarial team.

Ad Hoc Duties

Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks are as allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience we expect you to have obtained during your CILEX qualification:

Secretarial qualification eg CILEX
Audio typing experience
Accuracy and attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook
Ability to work as part of a team
Able to work to tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
