Job Description:

A successful advertising agency with funky offices in central London is looking for a self-motivated and pro-active Receptionist/Office Manager to join their friendly team.

If you're a people person with previous reception/customer service experience and you'd love to be that go-to person for a hardworking team of creative individuals, read on!

Based on front of house, as Receptionist/Office Manager, in your role you will:

  • Meet and greet all clients and visitors to the office with a warm welcome
  • Answer phones, order couriers and stationery for the office
  • Set up meeting rooms for all meetings and ensure the office space is looking great at all times
  • Manage all contractors including tradesmen, cleaners and the night guard
  • Coordinate fire warden training, health and safety risk assessments, first aid and H&S inductions for new staff
  • Monitor kitchen supplies, order weekly groceries for the office and ensure the kitchen is functioning as it should be
  • Organise weekly Friday drinks and the agency breakfast every Monday
  • Drive the agency's culture by organising Christmas and summer parties, put forward ideas for seasonal events and organise cakes for staff birthdays - and anything else you like!
  • Ad-hoc project work when reception isn't busy

This is a fantastic role for someone who is organised, efficient and loves to be the face of a company. You must be happy to work autonomously with a go-getter attitude where nothing's ever too much trouble. If that sounds like you, read the below to find out how to apply…

***It would really help your application if you can briefly tell us in your cover what top three qualities you can bring to this company and role. It could be anything from making a fantastic brew for your team, to being a guru when it comes to organisation - there are no wrong answers, so don't hold back!***

(Whilst we'd love to get back to all candidates on the status of their application, we are only able to notify successful candidates due to the large number of applications we receive for each role).
