All About The Role

Responsibilities

In-depth root-cause analysis of product quality issues affecting customers and drive resolution and improvement to the satisfaction of the customer.
Supporting and guiding Line Technicians to resolve production issues and improve processes.
Raising Change Requests (CRs) and engineering changes (ECNs) to completion with full traceability. Report monthly on CR and ECN progress.
Recording and publication of non-conformances (NCs) providing guidance and assistance to NC owners where necessary.
Using problem-solving tools to ensure the non-conformance (CAPA) process identifies and acts on root causes of product and process concerns.
Working as part of the internal auditing team to ensure the auditing programme is followed to identify improvement opportunities within the business.
Supporting scheduled external audits (ISO9001/14001, ATEX - EN(phone number removed), UL, MED etc).
Working with process owners to ensure process control documentation within the QMS is kept up-to-date. Map-out new processes where necessary.
Definition and implementation of improvements to the systems used to manage and record quality issues: Q-Pulse, QMS etc.
All About You

Essential

Experience in electronics / electro-mechanical manufacturing
Deep knowledge of problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 why, Fishbone etc)
Deep knowledge of Quality Management Systems: ISO9001/14001
Ability to use IT tools and systems to track and manage quality data
Experience in delivering Continuous Improvement programmes
HND in Electronic Engineering or other electro-mechanical qualification
Desireable

Six sigma training
ISO9001/14001 auditor
ATEX Directive experience
Experience working in a highly-regulated market
Knowledge of DFMEA and PFMEA processes
Experience of the Q-Pulse quality management system
