General Manager - Luxury Retail

We have a unique opportunity for an accomplished Retail General Manager to continue in the pursuit of excellence in customer service. With a keen eye for current trends combined with a lasting appreciation for classic rural style, we have put together an extensive collection of men's and women's country attire that embodies fine country living at its best, from traditional tweeds to fine cashmere, practical gilets to extravagant eveningwear. Working with luxury brands and products, our aim is to deliver the best merchandise, textiles and service that Scotland has to offer.

Extensive business experience including relevant multi store gained within the Retail sector or in the Hospitality sector. Experienced in managing relationships at a senior level and managing a diverse (in terms of skill base and experience) team of people.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against a business strategy.

Must possess a track record of increasing and sustaining sales growth and profitability even in challenging market conditions such as the current economic climate.

Must demonstrate a proven ability to motivate, coach and develop people.

You will be:

  • A Customer Service Ambassador
  • A Great Leader with a proven track record
  • Collaborative, flexible and reliable
  • Able to support a rapidly changing programme
  • Interested in visual displays, with visual flair
  • Positive with an approachable positive manner
  • Able to achieve consistently high standards
