Job Description:

Excellent opportunity for Payroll Administrator to join a well-established business in their office in central Manchester. They are a friendly team and it is a nice working environment and also easily accessible in Manchester city centre.

Key tasks:

  • Monitoring and resolving queries sent to Payroll inbox or over the phone
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve queries and escalate where appropriate
  • Providing reporting support to payroll team (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Maintaining dashboard tracker
  • Organising business mailers regarding seasonal payroll changes
  • Ad-hoc activities (compiling audit documents, supporting Payroll Manager etc)

Essential skills:

  • Customer focused
  • Exceptional telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of current UK payroll legislation
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own work load and work to strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of data privacy and compliance
