Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Sales Executive (Retail Membership)

SALARY: £20,000 - £26,000 +

(£18,000 basic + GTD min bonus payment £2,000 + Bonus: OTE £26,000 + uncapped) + Mileage Allowance

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week

The post holder will normally work business hours but will be required to be flexible, working as necessary to engage with the hospitality businesses.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Sales Executive (Retail Membership) is responsible for generating the sale / renewal of membership using a variety of sales techniques to achieve revenue targets.

MAIN TASKS AND DUTIES

* Cold calling potential customers and selling membership

* Managing membership renewals and reselling membership to secure renewal

* Following up with past members and selling membership

* Researching the target market and finding companies to target

* Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales

* Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales

* Working to monthly sales and revenue targets

* Assist with creating / issuing membership invoices following a sale

* Updating the CRM and inputting information on customers

* Following up on sales leads generated by other members of the team

* Update and maintain product knowledge across all services

General Responsibilities

* To understand, adhere to and actively implement all the policies and procedures of the client.

* To act in accordance with data protection and confidentiality requirements

* To undertake appropriate additional tasks as directed by the CEO

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

* Self-motivated and organised individual

* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs in a sales role for another company

* Proven track record of securing leads through cold calling for another company

* Proven track record of converting leads into sales for another company

* Outgoing with the ability to create and develop positive working relationships

* Effective verbal and written communication skills to be able to deal with people of all levels

* Excellent organisational skills with a flexible and innovative approach to deal with changing situations and new opportunities

* Current driving licence & Access to a car for the purpose of work related travel across NI and ability to travel

Desirable

* A Level in English and Maths

* IT literate with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint & Outlook

* Experience of social media

* Knowledge of data capture
