Permanent | Full-time | Doncaster | Sales Administrator | £18k

Your new company
You will be working for a growing organisation based on the outskirts of Doncaster within their Sales Office.

Your new role
You will be part of a busy sales team liaising with business customers to provide an efficient service whilst maximising sales. You will liaise with customers via telephone and email to answer enquiries about stock availability and prices. In addition to customers, you will communicate with hauliers to arrange delivery times and to check order delivery progress. Administrative duties will be carried out through the use of Sage to process orders and all customer information will be logged accordingly on a CRM system. Involvement in other ad-hoc administrative tasks will be required.

  • Up-selling / cross-selling
  • Customer service
  • Sales order processing
  • Delivery processing



What you'll need to succeed
You must have a commercial approach with the ability to identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell on orders taken. Experience within a sales office is essential to this role and you need to be confident talking to people over the phone. This is a fast-paced role and the right candidate will be able to work at pace and under pressure. Experience using Sage is desired but it is a necessity that you are competent with the MS Office package including Excel.

You must be able to drive as there are no public transport links to these offices.
