SHIFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - PERMANENT - WILTSHIRE - UP TO £44,000 INC SHIFT

A leading pharmaceutical organisation based in Wiltshire are looking for Shift Maintenance Engineers to join their engineering team on a permanent basis, there are both double days (6-2, 2-10) and 24/7 (4 on 4 off) shifts available.

Working alongside other Shift Maintenance Engineers you will be responsible for the ongoing reliability of the equipment by performing planned and reactive maintenance, you will carry out fault finding and root cause analysis (RCA) techniques on equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement throughout site.

You will also need to complete all necessary documentation for the maintenance activities carried out to ensure compliance with GMP standards and regulations, this will include noting errors and bad practices and making suggestions for equipment improvements. You will also take ownership for documentation for change controls, validations, installations etc. You will also be responsible for obtaining purchase orders, spares requests, quotations as well as controlling spares in an efficient manner.

Suitable candidates will be Multi Skilled with an electrical bias and will have strong experience working in a highly regulated/ GMP environment i.e. FMCG, food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities. Successful candidates will also have a formal engineering qualification (preferably in electrical engineering) i.e. HNC, HND, ONC, C&G (city and guilds) or time served/ completed an apprenticeship.
