Job Purpose:

Are you a multi-skilled and talented engineer Our Client is a security company based in the Nottinghamshire. They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, registered engineer to join the team. As an CCTV Installation engineer you will be working with a wide range of security technologies; a great opportunity for individuals with an interest in CCTV, Alarms, Access Control and specialised security systems and/or automatic doors. We are looking to fill this position urgently; candidates should be available to start working immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

? Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.

? Identify and define client's system security requirements.

? You will focus on engineering electronic security systems(Automatic doors, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm). Offering a genuine opportunity to learn and encourages the progression of your engineering skills and career.

? Conduct initial site inspection and risk assessments identifying and defining client's system security requirements.

? Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.

? Help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks by developing technical solutions and new security tools.

? To present at all times a smart, vigilant, and commanding security presence acting as a visual deterrent.

? Ensuring the security of our clients and their premises, carrying out all necessary duties to the highest standard and in full adherence procedures.

? Confidently working individually or as part of a team to bring resolution to clients where potential security threats could arise.

? Professionally meeting and greeting the client at their premises.

? Ensure that all maintenance issues are reported and recorded as per instructions as well as preventing and detecting any fire, water leaks or potential safety hazards.

? Maintaining the highest standard of personal grooming; as per company policy, at all times.

? Working within a team covering a geographical area; forming part of an on-call rota.

? Ensuring the regular maintenance of our client's security systems, correcting any issues that the client may report or arise from maintenance checks. Replacing cameras if necessary; working towards and exceeding maintenance and fault finding targets.

? Implement and act in accordance with the organisation's information security policies.

? Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.

? Produce, review and maintain risk assessments and equipment fault diagnosis and repair.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have:

? Proven working experience in installing and maintaining security systems.

? Through understanding of the latest security principles, technique and protocols.

? Familiarity with web related technologies of network/web related protocols.

? Problem solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a pressurised environment.

? Have a minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience.

? Unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK for a minimum period of twelve months.

? A clean Full UK Driving License and own reliable transportation, such as a van or other suitable vehicle.

? Be IT literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

? Be flexible, willing to work weekend and nights shift and on occasion be utilized as support staff.
