Job Description:

The Relief Security Officer’s day will mainly consist of these key duties:
• The ReliefSecurity Officer will be responsible for securing the premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• It will be the responsibility of the Security Officer to monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Ensuring that all reportable incidents are recorded, clearly and concisely in a timely manner Establish and maintain a regular communication with the site team in all associated tasks.
• The Relief Security Officer will support the team to and throughout any incident or occurrence, advising and assisting where necessary, including:
• - Fire alarms 
• - CCTV alarms/PID’s
• - Escalation of incidents according to laid down procedures
 
What we expect from our Relief Security Officer:
• The Relief Security Officer will possess strong literacy and numeracy capabilities
• A methodical and well-organised approach will be vital for the new Security Officer
• The Relief Security Officer will be an effective communicator both verbally and written
• Strong literacy and numeracy capabilities
• SIA/DBS License required
