Job Description:

My client is a small, reputable, successful CCTV & alarm company, covering Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas.

You will work alongside the business owner, servicing and installing high technology security solutions. With a fantastic customer base and key customers, this small business will offer stability and excellent working conditions.

This role suits a trainee or experienced engineer, who can work autonomously and look after projects from start to finish..

Excellent pay and training will be provided for the successful candidate.A strong understanding of security industry products is crucial.

Daily Responsibilities: -

  • Installation & maintenance of intruder alarms, access control and CCTV systems
  • Periodic preventative maintenance of electronic security systems
  • Fault finding, test and repair of malfunctioning systems
  • Complete engineer service reports
  • Be capable to use tools and equipment within health and safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide an excellent customer service at all time
  • Customer-focused attitude

Requirements for the CCTV/Alarm Electrical Engineer: -

  • A Full/clean driving licence would be essential
  • You MUST have some experience of installing CCTV & alarm systems, although additional training can be provided if your current experience is limited.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A professional attitude and approach - as you will be dealing directly with business and private customers on their premises
  • Can work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Are self-motivated and have a flexible approach to work
  • A willingness to learn and a positive attitude

The Package

  • Salary £18 - 25,000 depending on experience
  • Access to company vehicle
  • Tools can be provided
  • Mobile phone or allowance
  • Working hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
  • Overtime pay available (if you choose to opt in to on call work)
  • Training & development where required
