Receptionist/Switchboard Operator-London-£28k-£32k-West End

A leading financial services company is looking for a Receptionist, with great organisational skills who is happy to pick up some office management and facilities duties. The successful candidate will be required to operate a busy switchboard answering and forwarding phone calls. The new role is an exciting opportunity for a receptionist who can work well autonomously.

Duties will include;

  • Meet & greet clients, showing them to relevant meeting rooms
  • Assistance with catering requirements
  • General administration
  • Taking of taxi/courier bookings
  • Update the electronic diary to ensure visitor access and security is maintained
  • Screening phone calls
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Ensuring rooms are set up to correct requested way

Qualifications/Experience for the reception role position includes;

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience working within a reception environment
  • Ability to use Skype
