JOB TITLE: Corporate Receptionist

HOURS: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.00pm

Must have the flexibility to cover two additional shift patterns at short and long term notice (Holiday, sickness, flexible working) 8.00am - 16.00pm and 10.00am - 18.00pm

SALARY: £25,000 - £27,500 per annum

LOCATION: Moorgate

Job Summary | Corporate Receptionist

Act as the first focal point for all staff, clients and visitors arriving at the office. Providing a professional and warm welcome to an exceptional level. Working as part of a team and supporting the Office Manager in providing a 5* front of house service.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Recording and escalating maintenance faults to the appropriate external team
  • Managing post both incoming, outgoing, using the franking machine and electronic weighing scales, booking same day/overnight/international couriers and record keeping
  • Ordering taxis'
  • Liaising with Building Management and Building Security (booking-in visitors and out of hours contractors electronically)
  • Managing stock levels and replenishing supplies such as stationery, milk and kitchen consumables
  • Travel booker and completing expenses when occasionally required (usually covering a Team Assistant during leave periods)
  • Develop good relationships with Team Assistants, PA's and any teams closely aligned to Facilities
  • Sending out all staff communication/notifications using proficient spelling and grammar
  • Company event support (in house drinks receptions and very occasionally working outside of office hours to support these events - two/three times a year at most)
  • Ad hoc administration duties as and when required using Microsoft Office software packages
  • Supporting the Office Manager
  • Fire Marshal duties
  • Liaise with the team to ensure Reception is always covered during the day and over leave periods

Be mindful this is a service provider role and so exceptional customer service must be provided at all times.
