RECEPTIONIST ADMINISTRATOR - Shoreham-by-Sea
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Receptionist Administrator with an excellent attitude and plenty of enthusiasm to join their innovative engineering company based on Shoreham Airport.
You will be the first point of contact for the Company, so professionalism is key. You will support the Office Manager functions and be responsible for various duties, from arranging staff travel to assisting with administrative tasks.
The Company offers excellent benefits and a competitive Pension Scheme. Salary up to £20,000
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greeting all visitors in a friendly, polite and professional manner. Making refreshments, keeping the counter top tidy and replenished and ensuring the reception area is kept in good order at all times.
* Issuing visitor badges and ensuring visitors are aware of site safety rules and leaving site procedures.
* Answering all incoming phone calls, taking accurate messages for unanswered calls and distributing promptly.
* Providing administrative assistance as required to support the Office Manager and Company Secretary.
* Servicing meeting rooms, organising coffees, teas and lunches; setting out and clearing meeting rooms. Servicing the kitchen, including filling/emptying the dishwasher and assisting with cleaning of coffee machines. Keeping meeting areas and kitchen tidy. Booking meeting rooms when required.
* Arranging staff travel, booking hire cars and taxis.
* Distribution of daily post and deliveries.
* Ordering office supplies and stationery.
* Reporting any office/site issues (maintenance/security).
NECESSARY
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal and written.
* MS Word, Excel and outlook. Training for other software will be provided.
* Proven administrative skills.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
* Ability to follow procedures.
* A positive attitude and a team worker
* Willingness and flexibility to get involved in other aspects of the business when required
OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS PREVIOUSLY WORKED AS A RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATOR NOT SOMEONE WHO IS ABLE TO DO RECEPTION.
ADVANTAGEOUS

STANDARD WORKING HRS: 37.50 hours per week Monday-Friday 09.00-17.30 (1 hour for lunch)
SALARY RANGE: £17-20K
HOLIDAY: 20 days per annum, rising to 25 days after 2 years' service,
