West End of London based Islamic Investment bank is looking for a temp to perm Arabic speaking Receptionist/Hospitality Assistant

Client Details

West End of London based Islamic Investment bank situated in a striking building in the heart of the West End shopping with excellent transport links

Description

Making Teas & Coffees for VIP customers and setting up the room when there is a breakfast or lunch meeting

  • Clearing the meeting rooms ready for next meeting.
  • Ensuring that supplies in the meeting rooms/Banking Hall are stocked up, e.g. water, biscuits, etc.
  • Sharing Reception position which would entail:

Covering for breaks and lunch and when Receptionist is on other duties;

Greeting the customers and guests;

Answering the phone and directing calls appropriately;

Taking accurate telephone message and informing recipient;

Logging incoming courier packages and informing the recipient there is a package for collection;

Booking International and UK couriers and keeping records of such up-to-date;

Keeping a record of Security Passes and Fobs given out to contractors, visitors and staff and ensuring that they are returned;

Keeping the monthly spreadsheet of current Security Passes and Fobs up-to-date;

Sending out the weekly and monthly statements to customers and reconciling cheques with statements for the Qatar Embassy on a weekly basis;

Assisting with Head Office VIP visits and being responsive to the requirements of VIP visitors;

Profile

Fluent Arabic speaker with legal rights to work full time in the UK

Polished and professional with an approachable nature

Comfortable working in an environment which demands very high standards

Excellent telephone manner and inter-personal skills

Ability to communicate at all levels (colleagues, visitors, clients, companies, building staff)

Discretion and professionalism, "can do" attitude

Capable of using initiative and planning ahead

Willing to get involved in daily office assistance and be a fast learner

High standard of presentation and grooming

Ability to work under pressure

Team spirit and sense of humour

Resilient and calm personality
