Weekend Receptionist
Wimborne House, Gravesend
£8.03 per hour
15 hours per week - Saturday and Sunday - 8.30am to 4.30pm
We are seeking a Receptionist to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Wimborne House offers self-contained apartments for adults with learning disabilities. You will be an individual with a 'can-do' attitude, fulfilling various customer service and administrative roles, and providing everyday support to the wider Wimborne House team and organisation.

The role of Weekend Receptionist will include:
  • Welcoming and directing clients, guests, contractors and staff members
  • Being a first point of call to receive and direct all customer and resident queries
  • Liaising closely with other members of staff
  • Supporting the maintenance of effective filing systems, database records and processes including coordinating bedroom allocations
  • Ensuring the Health and Safety of the residents and security of building
Skills and Experiences:
  • Previous experience within a similar role, demonstrating high attention to detail is desirable
  • The ability to work independently and on your own initiative is essential
  • Experience using computerised booking systems and phone systems would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • The ability to stay calm and constructive in emergencies
