Accounts & audit assistant part qualified ACCA AAT job with leading firm of accountants in Southampton

Your new firm
You will be working for one of the region's largest independent firms of Chartered Accountants based in Chandlers Ford near Southampton in Hampshire. The firm has more than 30 years' experience of servicing businesses across the region.

Your new role
Working within the accounts and audit team you will be responsible for accounts preparation for a wide range of clients using IRIS, ensuring that client affairs are dealt with promptly and to a consistently high standard and that deadlines are met. You will also probably be involved in preparing tax computations.
You will be assisting directors and supervisors so that clients are delighted with the service they received from the firm.
You will be responding to client and internal emails and telephone calls promptly after authorisation from seniors and there will be a great deal of direct client contact.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a part qualified ACCA or AAT accountant looking for a role where you can continue with your personal and professional development in professional practice.
The role would suit a dynamic, intelligent individual who is confident and team orientated: good communicators who colleagues and clients like to work with. A willingness to listen and learn with a 'can do' attitude is essential and you will need to be dependable, personable and good at building relationships
The firm are looking for competent individuals who are not afraid to be pushed outside their comfort zone, and who take pride in their work.
Possession of a full UK valid driving licence is essential.
